Claims & 24/7 travel assistance.
Clear guidance when something goes wrong, from urgent medical or security assistance abroad to non-emergency claims support in the UK.
Need urgent help while travelling?
Use the emergency assistance contact details shown on your policy or certificate documents.
Contact the local emergency services first if someone needs urgent medical attention or is in immediate danger.
Use the 24/7 emergency assistance details shown on your certificate or policy documents.
If possible, have the traveller name, certificate number, location and a short summary of what has happened.
Need to make a non-emergency claim?
Start with the basics. You don’t need to send your entire medical history or every document you own in the first message.
Tell us what happened, identify the policy or certificate, and we’ll help you understand the next step and what evidence may be required.
Give us a short outline of the event and when it happened.
Include your policy or certificate number and the insured traveller’s details.
Retain receipts, reports, invoices and travel documents connected to the claim.
Our team can explain what documents or claim information are needed once the claim type is clear.
Contact the UK claims team.
For non-emergency claims and assistance questions, Perrymount is available Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm UK time.
A short initial message is enough. Please avoid including detailed or sensitive medical information unless it is requested as part of the claims process.
What documents might help with a claim?
The exact evidence required depends on what happened and the relevant policy wording. These are useful documents to keep while the claim is being assessed.
Policy or certificate documents, certificate number and insured traveller details.
Evidence of additional expenses, replacement purchases or medical costs.
Medical reports, bookings, itineraries and cancellation or delay notices.
A local police or official report may be required where appropriate and reasonably obtainable.
Don’t throw anything away too quickly.
If something could be relevant to your claim, keep it until you know it isn’t needed — including receipts, correspondence, booking confirmations, medical documents and reports.
The evidence required varies by claim type, so the policy wording and claims team should guide what ultimately needs to be submitted.
Need help with an existing policy or claim?
Tell us briefly what has happened and include your policy or certificate details if you have them. We’ll help point you towards the right next step.
